A teenager‘s room should be more than a location they be able to retreat when they do not want to talk to their parents. It should be a reflection of their character and a space where they can feel comfortable, safe, and inspired. The rooms in this post are particularly creative in their use of color and other blueprint elements, ultimately producing vibrant spaces where even the most finicky and capricious teenagers would adore to hole up. While not all the spaces are bedrooms, they would all be ideal rooms for teens to name their own.

Designed by Amirko aka Amirkhan Abdurakhmanov this concept (if it becomes real) will offer you the possibility to completely change the look of a space without having to reach for the paint buckets. Called simply “Change it!” this is basically a big wall of little triangle panels, which can be rotated to get the color of your choice. Each triangle take white, black, and rainbow shades. I feel that in about four or five years this idea could be on the market, and then you’ll be changing the way your studio apartment looks everytime, and who knows maybe things like this will be the future of interior design. – Via – Yanko

I started with a giant piece of indoor/outdoor “fake grass” carpet. The carpet I purchased came in a 12-foot-wide roll, so I got a 6-foot length of it, which was a good commensurate size for a football field, and just right for my kitchen floor. I also picked up a roll of white duct tape while I was at the store.

Motivated by the legendary Pac-Man himself, this self design lives up to the character's true aesthetic. The shelf features a bright yellow coloring complete with several square shelving units that curve. Inside is a plentiful amount of space to house all sorts of knick-knacks. The piece can be mounted straight onto the wall making it more a work of art rather than a traditional shelf design.

Books bring a very special feeling to a place and if you think about it, they also offer nobility. We are major book fans here and up to now, we tried to find interesting storage places for them. Recently we have ran across yet another great blueprint for a bookcase. We know you might not remember this, but this is quite similar to that we had published a while ago. It is a design that decelerate the usual motif of books on horizontal shelves and brings something new to the table. It is also very elegant and practical. You could use each shelf for a particular letter of the alphabet in order to find the books a lot easier. For a residence that has a lot of living space, a whole room could be used in this manner. We imagine it would be a great place for reading and relaxation.
