The best areas combine different looks to create a style that’s all its own. We love the area for the way it balances clean, white furniture and walls with vibrant pops of colour. The sofa is plain also modern (not to mention comfortable, which is essential!). But the juxtaposition with that incredible Moroccan-inspired coffee table and bright, stripy rug grants the space personality and style. Add tons of natural light from the many windows, and you have got our aspiration living room.
These days when we expend most of our time at work within desks, phone, fax machines and computers, coming home to a warm place it’s great. Even greater is when your living area is exactly what you expected then the feeling is much better. Therefore, if these times you need to look at some living room spaces to get your plans, we have them for you.

I’m a maximalist at heart so this eclectic, bohemian living space is my ideal site to retreat to. To infuse some bohemian components into your living room layer it with plenty of books, curiosities from your travels and things that just make you happy – the perfect decorative accessories! Temper the liveliness with a few bigger, bolder pieces for some calmer components in the room, like the sofa and neutral walls. To bring it all to life, nature knows the top– this does not always signify plants but can be anything from a massive hunk of tree as a coffee table or a bamboo hanging chair!
Boho chic at its best, this living space belongs to Marie Olsson Nylander and I love it (I adore the whole house in fact). Understated, homely, here it is more about creating a residence than showcasing a beautiful collection of vintage pieces. With its neutral timbres, white walls, natural, earthy materials it has a serene feel about it yet it would totally withstand kids running around while you try and chill on that gorgeous sofa or catch up with friends and a cuppa! To me that is what a living room should be. It should be about living… living beautifully
I do agree that the furniture may not suit your home, but that isn’t the only think you should consider. Colors, furnishings, the layout, the walls and other small aspects are just as good to create your own design. From highly modern to stylish living room spaces, they all look great. Which is your favorite?
