Before the initiate last week, we had a quick chat with the brand’s founder Timothy Oulton, who expressed his enthusiasm in India and this association. “Our furniture is not for the faint-hearted. Tarun Vadehra has never done a cooperation in four decades; so I sense honoured. We would like to develop the business in India and Mumbai would be our next plain city to expand the brand in the country; hopefully in the coming two years,” he adds.

Nothing is more significant in the world then having a place to call home. The Breust Residence is playful: striking outline, contrasting materials were used in defining it. The two-story residence is spacious and luminous with extraordinary high ceilings, exhaling elegance (just take a look at the gorgeous copper-like annular bulbs hanging from the ceiling) but also piece of mind, due to the uncluttered décor. “The full height glazing not only perserve this main living area as an extension of the outdoors – with gardens and water on either side – but also enable for natural cross ventilation to cool the space efficiently and innately without mechanical intervention or air conditioning. The view of water has been made through the use of glass to the side of the above floor lap pool, mimicking the extent of the volume between the two pavilions.”

We like creative interiors! Creativity is a affair of rehearsal, like many other things in life. There is no uncertainty that everyone can be creative, as long as he or she looks for less ordinary approaches. When we first notice the Nussberg Penthouse interior, in Vienna, we thought that the customer really desired “a home to remember”. And that is exactly what Beef Architekti (the studio accountable with the decoration) managed to deliver to their client. Exquisite, playful and with a touch of rustic elegance, the Nussberg Penthouse, with its bohemian spot (an aged Vienna hotel with an exterior spiral staircase), seeks to offer a unique living experience, by blending the natural feel with the contemporary comfort.

Her charming home is based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Simple, yet elegant, Susan Drover’s living room has something that makes you say: “Yes, this is definitely a warm place, where I can enjoy the little things in life. A real home". The exemplary white is interrupted here and there with splashes of purple shades. The kitchen, the dining area and the living room are connected (the doors have been eliminated), offering a distinctive living experience, by having a lot of space to move. The fireplace or the raw wood deposit add a bit of warmth. So, what do you think?! Is it the way you expected it to be?

The innovative group Geometrix Design is finished the blueprint of a challenging room, serving as a parlour (unique living room area) for a family of musicians. Here is the press release we sent from the architects: “Our prime tasks were: to think out a storage system for musical equipment, books, and other belongings without making the room even more narrow, to provide a place to sleep, and some room for rehearsals and giving lessons.

Contemporary living space décor is bright and well lit. If the room's existing lighting is a bit dim, adding some lamps could make a big impact. Also consider the idea of investing in new overhead lighting. Installing path, rail, or cable lighting to your ceiling will give the room a very contemporary look and make lighting objects around the room and on the walls a simpler and more adaptable task.
