The first thing to tackle is the furniture layout. If you have a baby, chances are you will be in and out of the room at night to tend to the baby. If possible, locate their beds in reverse corners or walls with the crib being most accessible to the door. Clearly structural components such as windows and heaters can prescribe otherwise but your design objective is to give each child the most comfortable night’s sleep without one waking the other.

Decorating with grey is a clear thing as this color is good for everything: walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, upholstery and accessories, just vary the shades to get what you like. If you like something airy and neutral, use dove grey, if not – charcoal grey is right what you need. Black will also seem good and contrasting with grey and yellow; if you want a lighter look and airy feel, add white or cream.
