Brazilian architect in collaboration with art collector Mara Fainziliber and lighting planner Maneco Quinderé made an interior called Living Room of an Art Collector, as part of , an important event of national architecture and ornament held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The brief of the project was to make a spot where tradition meets contemporary decoration, in a pleasant manner. Here is small description from Gisele Taranto: “Ceiling, floor and walls were saved as originally and received pieces of art and designed furniture. The biggest challenge was to display that it is feasible to maximize contemporaneity to any historical room, giving emphasis to both. Pieces of renowned and new promising artists, national and internationally, were used in the space.” Even though this massive, one thousand square foot living room is not something one could easily rebuild, some of the decorating elements found here are beautiful, practical and inspiring.

The excellent accessory towards nature, made a Canadian family determine to move their lasting home into the woods. Gestion René Desjardins, the Canadian workshop that finished the interior of this specific home, had to “inspect” what their customer wanted.Located in the bucolic Quebec, Maison du Boisé is a modern home in the middle of the woods. The customers requested a house that is contemporary, without being “minimalistic”. Moreover, they wanted a room that provides freedom of operation for their three children.
