The exit of summer is eminent, and while fall carries with it a wide array of energizing new shades and a lineup of festivities that we adore, some of us still miss the warmth of the summer months. No matter where you live, a sunroom can partially recompense for this loss, as it brings freshness, cheerful allure and chic warmth into your house all day long! Whoever listens to the sound of the harp will forever recall its smooth and peaceful sounds. Owning one and knowing how to play it is a dream for many people. However, if that is not the case, you could always go for something less exciting in the field of music, but quite cool in the field of design. From Carisa, this heater is a non-singing or home-heating model of a harp. It is called Adagio and even though it doesn't have the ability to make beautiful sounds, it will surely keep your home warm and perhaps even give you a harp-related feeling. The producers explain this object as “a symphony in stainless steel, harmonious or moving, yet timeless. A radiator to move your spirit. A radiator that is beyond any imagination or creativity.” We take their word for it and we are looking forward to yours too.

I started with a giant piece of indoor/outdoor “fake grass” carpet. The carpet I purchased came in a 12-foot-wide roll, so I got a 6-foot length of it, which was a good commensurate size for a football field, and just right for my kitchen floor. I also picked up a roll of white duct tape while I was at the store.

As their Arctic habitat continues to collapse, polar bear hunting is not exactly a sport that’s on the up and up. Animal themed decor, however, continues to be a hot trend in the interior design community. So, how do you get your hands on a bear skin rug without contributing to the extinction of bear populations? French designer Lise Lefebvre has come up with a twist on the bear skin rug that even the staunchest PETA supporter could not complain about. She mixed the classical polar bear rug with a Persian rug design elements. The combination of these two elements is a real eye-catcher.
