The Harp is dissimilar from any stringed instrument. It's tall, about six feet, shaped a little like the number 7, and has 47 strings of varying lengths, which are tuned to the notes of the white keys of the piano. There are normally more than one harps in an orchestra also they play two together melody or harmony. You play the harp sitting down with your legs on either side, with the neck of the harp leaning on your correct shoulder. Each string resonances a different note (they come in different colors to help you tell one from another) and you play them by plucking the strings with your fingertips and thumb. Attached to the bottom of the harp are seven foot pedals, which change the pitch of each string and allow them to sound the pitches of the black keys on the piano.

We like creative interiors! Creativity is a affair of rehearsal, like many other things in life. There is no uncertainty that everyone can be creative, as long as he or she looks for less ordinary approaches. When we first notice the Nussberg Penthouse interior, in Vienna, we thought that the customer really desired “a home to remember”. And that is exactly what Beef Architekti (the studio accountable with the decoration) managed to deliver to their client. Exquisite, playful and with a touch of rustic elegance, the Nussberg Penthouse, with its bohemian spot (an aged Vienna hotel with an exterior spiral staircase), seeks to offer a unique living experience, by blending the natural feel with the contemporary comfort.

“I certainly would not say the British have a monopoly on eccentricity,” says Ros Byam Shaw, author of the 2014 book English Eccentric: A Celebration of Imaginative, Intriguing and Stylish Interiors (Ryland Peters & Small). “Every country has its eccentrics, but perhaps we have much than most. It is a trait we celebrate rather than pillory, and nonconformity is quite a British thing.

“In this project, Özelgin has used rowdy stone and raw concrete mixed with polished marble, wood and glass for the interior and sections of the exterior. Also the general use of stone surfaces on walls, floors and exterior areas can be considered as an example of the use of local elements. Besides, the use of stonewall boards in the primary living spaces is one of the most important features of the design.” From shiny marble tables to futuristic-like sculptures – everything seems to drop into room visually. The overall scheme appears to be fascinating and intimidating, in the same time.
