I was totally interested by this modern black rug designed by Liset Van der Scheer, because combined with a few pieces of black furniture, and a few white chairs you can get an amazing design. The base is made of wool and polyester knots to warranty a quality surface. The polyester fibre threads are notably very strong. The carpet model permits the hair thread to sway in different directions, giving it a varied appearance in combination with brightness. Finnaly you can get this stylish , radiant and strong, hand tufted in a wool and pylyester base rug from Casalis.

Designed in 1968 by Roberto Menghi, these gloosy plus shiny globe lamps come in large and medium sizes and in different attractive metallic colors. This makes them suited as single and cluster arrangements.

Yes, sometimes it is just that easy, folks! A new rug can lay the base for a thoughtfully designed space. And sometimes when you get the rug that is just right for you, it can name attention to the other design elements in the room that don’t quite work. Below we look my latest passion (or shall we say “rug-session”?)… It’s the Square Tile Block Printed Cotton Dhurrie, hand block published by artisans in Jaipur. Did I mention that this exquisite rug is on sale, plus the 5′ x 8′ version is only $69.99?!!! I just ordered it, and I cannot wait to look how it looks in my space…

Most often retro pattern inspirations are linked with bold colors, complex designs and general design that is more over the top than underrated. While this refreshingly rich look mightn't work with every living room and any given theme, it does feel organic and urbane when done right. Try to introduce a few vintage chairs, a retro-styled table, plus possibly a cllasic decor item or two to accentuate the retro look. A completely retro-inspired living room can be a touch swamping, but therein lays its beauty!

Living rooms with skylights can add a whole new element to your home and unlike general perception; they are not just the excessive indulgence of the rich. If anything, modern design too much mandates beautiful and smart natural ventilation that serves you manifold. From aesthetics to ergonomics skylights conceal every base also do so in a graphically brilliant fashion.

Have you ever contemplated coloring your walls black? This paint hue is a bold select but able to look so stylish. Precisely the opposite of white paint, dark paint creates your space feel tighter or snugger. While I might not endorse black for a compact room, it can create a big living room feel more homey.

Step-down or sunken living areas have a long memoir that goes back to the late ‘50s. The trend is creating its way back to the modern interiors because of more practical purposes. This style of dropping the floor is necessary where raising the roof is not possible. The use of partitions, walls, or thresholds also eases smooth transition from one material to another, which is rather difficult with open floor plans characteristic of mainstream design.
