Created by ‘Ownby Design’, this living room is the part of an open ground plan but a few sunken distinguishes it from the rest of the space along with giving a touch of intimacy. Here, the living room, kitchen, and the dining area are flowing from one space to another but yet have visibly separate partitions. The sectional right in front of the divider and custom-designed pillows have made a comfy seating for watching your favored show on the TV.

Unlike the kitchen or the bath, drapes can play a pivotal role in determining the overall vibe of your family room and can easily change the mood of the space. Beautiful, silken yellow drapes seem fabulous when coupled with awesome gray walls, and the two do appear like a suit made in heaven. It's hard to visualize any extra bold color that looks as lovely as yellow when coupled with gray, especially when this sunny hue is showcased on curtains and shades.

Minimalism is fundamentally the art of being able to cozy, conveniently and aesthetically live with less. In reality, a beautiful, functional residence with a minimal motif is one of the difficulties to decor. It takes ability, restraint and a whole lot of discipline. For some of us who tend to bring home pretty much anything and everything, it is the single most difficult thing to do.
